There is no entrance fee to Ale Invite and we can not see stats on ticket sales. So please attend our facebook event if you are planning to come. This way we can have an idea of how many to expect. You can also ask us questions in the event if you don´t find the answer in the A-Z FAQ below.
- ACCOMODATION
If you need a hotel during your Ale Invite visit, we recommend The Fars Hatt Hotel in Kungälv. Call 0303-10970 or e-mail info@farshatt.se and mention the code ”Ale Invite” for discount. With the code your accomodation will be 795 SEK for a single room and 995 SEK for a double room. Breakfast, wifi, free parking and access to the sauna is included. Fars Hatt is about 10 km from Alebacken.
- ALEBACKEN
Alebacken will unfortunately be closed, but there will be another slope to ride on.

- AGE LIMIT
All ages are welcome to Ale Invite. This event has no age limit. Remember to bring ear protection for the kids!
- ANIMALS
No animals are allowed at the festival area.
- BARRIERS
Please respect our barriers during the event. They have been put there for a reason.
- CHILDREN
The children's area has several free activities; a snowboard school for 2-6 year olds and between 11-15, all children can get a face painting at the business fair. The slope will be open for the kids too.
- CIGARETTES / TRASH
Please throw your trash and cigarettes in designated areas.
- CLOSET / MOBILE CHARGING
If you need to store something during the day or charge your phone, you can do so in the Information which you can find find on the map. Prices are 30 SEK / bag and 20 SEK / mobile charging. Bring your own charger!
- DRUGS
We have zero tolerance for any type of illegal drugs.
- ENTRANCE
We will have two entrances, one on the south side of the hill towards the Alebacken ski lift and the other one by the parking lot entrance. The Alebacken parking lot will be closed to give more space for the festival area, more info where to park will presented later on.
- FOOD & BEVERAGES
There will be several local food vendors in various price ranges inside the area. Beer, wine and spirits are sold inside the closed beer tent area which will be much larger than last year to mimimize the cues. If you have young children you can take them with you in this area, until 6 pm- after that the age limit for the whole area is 18 years. We will also serve coffee and hot chocolate at Ale Invite.
- GLASS BOTTLES
All glass bottles are prohibited on the festival so leave your glass at home.
- THE HEATED COTTAGE
Will be closed to vistors, we use these facilities for press and tv broadcast.
- INFORMATION
Pass by and pick up a program if you didn´t get one in the entrance. The location is on the map.
- KIOSK
Chips, soft drinks and fruit will be available for purchase inside the area. Cigarettes and snus is sold in the bar.
- MEDICAL CARE
We have a great medical team, go to the Information and you will find at least one of them.
- OWN FOOD AND ALCOHOL
You can not bring your own food and alcohol. This prohibition does not apply to food and drink for babies.
- PARKING
The parking fee is 40 SEK cash for the entire day, please bring the right amount of cash. Map for parking will be updated later.
- TAXI/ DROP OFF ZONE
There will be a taxi/ drop off zone at the roundabout next to "Ledethallen" next to Alebacken.
- PAYMENT
The majority of dealers inside the area will accept creditcards, but bring cash for back up.
- PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Are you travelling with public transport from Gothenburg Central Station you should go with the shuttle train to Älvängen Station. Here is the train schedule for the 13th of february. From Älvängen Station, you take one of our shuttle buses straight to Alebacken.

- SNOWBOARD SCHOOL
In the bottom of the Alebacken slopes you will find the popular Burton Riglet Park from last year. The snowboard school is open between 12pm-6pm (with a pause 14-15:00) for all children between 2-6 years old that wants to try snowboarding for the first time. Boards and boots is provided by Burton, free of charge.
- TICKETS
Ale Invite is an event with no entrance fee. You do not need a ticket to enter the festival.
- TOILETS
Available on the north and south side of the area.
- UMBRELLAS
Is not allowed inside the area. Please wear a rain suit instead if it rains!
- WATER
Water and soft drinks are available for purchase in several places inside the area. You can also fill your PET bottle with tap water on the side of the heating cottage, opposite the ski rental.
- WEATHER
We keep our fingers crossed for the best weather on Saturday 13th. The weather forecast says that there will be sun and below zero. Don't forget to dress warm- with gloves, moss and boots.
